Weather and Finance

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

I have prepared a pilot segment with Stan Ehrlich the president of Solid Gold Financial Services. In this pilot segment we go over historical issues in temperature and humidity. Economists use case studies to understand the past, Stan uses his life experience as a trader to understand the past. The segment is linked below and may be changing source to improve reliability of delivery. If you can not download it today please try again tomorrow. This file format is an older quicktime format which does not stream. So please minimize the window you are using to view the below link and wait for the quicktime file to download fully before trying to view the clip.

As a Solid Gold Financial Services senior broker I trade on my private clients accounts according to the trade recommendations made by Stan Ehrlich our President and fund manager. As the resident programmer I write programs to improve and test the methods used at Solid Gold Financial Services. I also test my trading methods with real money as you have seen in the post I made earlier today. I have great confidence in the technical abilities and business savvy of Tom Boyd the office manager and VP on our team. In the three years I have been working with Solid Gold Financial Services Tom has improved our technical resources and banking relationships to put us at the head of the class in trade execution speed, privacy, security, and liquidity. He has even gone as far as to enable all of the enhanced security features of Metatrader to insure the privacy of our trades. This is something that I have not seen from any other Metatrader licensed brokerage.

First Trade of the Year

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

I finished several technologies last month and I have used them to execute my first trade of the year.

Rebolt or Re Balance Over Lay Technology

Visualizes the potential for a lead lag correlation in any two financial instruments. This visualization looks like three lines yellow, red and blue, which I will not discuss in a public forum.

Omniscience or The Highest Probabilitator

Gives the trader a screen full of the recent results reported from Rebolt as it is applied to a set of one hundred or more potentially related financial instruments. The Highest Probabilitator enables the trader to see all of the relevant intermarket relationships on a single screen.

Both of these tools require a human trader to read and understand the relationships presented. This methodology is the integration of the Panel (economic forecasting) and Signal Detection Theory (Radar, and Hearing Psychology).
