DCG Speed Tester Download
The MEAT algorithm and the DCG Rebalance technical indicator are both processor intensive tasks. Many home computers will not have the processor power required to use these programs. Today I created a basic speed tester for the Metatrader platform which can be downloaded and installed into a fresh version of the SG Trader 4 label of Metatrader. Click the link above to download this Speed Tester. The tester tests the speed in terms of the number of seconds it takes your computer to perform a specific number of iterations of a “for-while” loop. The results come back in form of an Alert Message. To use the tester simply drag and drop it on to any existing chart like any other indicator. You may then enter a the exponent for the number of operations you would like to run as a menu parameter. I recommend starting with five and trying the next higher exponent on the following trial.

The below picture is a screen shot of the results from my home computer. I am interested in receiving screen shots from other peoples computers. Remember that the key command for screen shot is Alt + PrintScreen keys pressed simultaneously to copy the current window into the clipboard. You can then paste the image into a Paint application with the normal paste command.testresults

DCGGBPSimulation

Click the above link to download and install the GBPUSD trader training simulation. This is an application that runs in the strategy tester tool in the Metatrader platform. This version only runs in that of the Solid Gold Financial Metatrader platform.

The below screen shots walk you through the setup of live trading with the DCGRebalance indicator.

Drag and drop the indicator from the navigator to use it live on the active chart.

Press “A” to open a buy order, press “D” to open a sell order and press “S” to close all orders.

When you use the installer your platform should then be adjusted to reflect the below screen shot.

Setup

When you press the start button in the Tester window the historical data will begin to flow live. You may now manually test your trading strategy by pressing the buy, sell and close keys. A trade history will be created to reflect the profit and loss in your simulated trades.
Run

To use the custom DCGRebalance indicator simply drag and drop the indicator from the Navigator window to the active chart. This indicator can be set to learn from a specific number of 24 hour cycles back in time. 16 cycles are recommended.
Rebalance

When you place a trade, a 24 hour in the future forecast is drawn on the chart in the form of a red dotted line. The DCGRebalance indicator is a reversal indicator. When the green line is low this reflects an oversold state. The probability that the oversold signal will result in a bullish 24 hour period is reflected in the highness of the blue line. When the green line is high this reflects an overbought state. When the red line is low this reflects the probability of an overbought state resulting in a bearish 24 hour period.

Try different indicators and prove to yourself the value of the technical indicators you use to trade.
Trade

Good luck and remember hard work and training will make you a rock solid trader.
